Whisper Your Wanting?
by Annie Lehberg

Look at me and tell me what you see.
Get close enough to breathe in the essence
that I exude.
Touch me and describe to me
the stage upon which your fingertips dance.

Draw me near to you so that you may feel
the warmth simmering from my desire.
Surround my small frame with your
strong arms, and I will lose myself in
the mass that is you.

Softly kiss me, whispering your wanting.
With your tongue, search just beyond my lips
soliciting the sighs amassed within my heart,
as I surrender to your passion.
