My Presence

by FelixGirl

Distracting glitter and dazzling colors
Distort my presence.
My presence lingers for some people.
Others, it was never there.
But never was it roaring.
Not sure of who I am,
Where I'm going,
Or what to do once I get there.
Building this up only to have it torn down
By this indecision.
Expected to find my own path
In this world of twists and turns and dead ends.
Floating on the line of woe and concern.
Stifling, stale journeys lay ahead.
This winding road will end my confusion
When I realize it will always curve.
I'm not even here in this world without end.
