Here I lie,
stretched out
Powerless
before your heart
Forever
silent and weak
Beneath its
overwhelming shadow
Eternally
unable to speak
When faced
with your timeless beauty
Stunned and
awestruck
While
assaulted with your wondrous presence
I am
powerless for you always
Beneath my
marble sculpture stoicism
Do you
detect my devastating desires?
Below the
still waters of my eyes
Can you tell
that a deeper fire burns?
On the
surface I may not seem to care
But inside
there is a true passion
A flame
burning only for you
I want to
let it rage forever
But I am
powerless to do so
Chained by
my own inhibitions
Imprisoned
in my own inexperience
So I chant
my mantra and pray for strength
